Where Good
Athletes
Become
Great Ones.

I'm Christian Simpson, a Tupelo native, D1 swimmer, and performance science graduate. Whether your child is just learning the water or you're an athlete chasing the next level, I've been where you want to go.

What I Believe
"I want every athlete, kid or young adult, to understand their inherent value as a person is dictated by things far greater than what the scoreboard of performance says."
— Christian G. Simpson

Swim Lessons

Safe. Skilled.
Confident.

Before I was a collegiate athlete, I was a swim instructor first. I have successfully taught over 500 private and small-group lessons, with over 6 years of experience working with swimmers from newborns to middle-age adults.

I know what it means for a parent to trust someone with their child in the water. I have taken that seriously for almost 8 years now, with CPR/AED, USA Swimming SafeSport, and Lifeguard Training Certifications. Safety is always the foundation, everything else builds from there.

I came up through competitive swimming myself. Six years with Shockwave Aquatics before swimming at the Division I level. I know the sport from the inside: the technique, the training, and what it actually takes to get faster. Wherever your swimmer is in their journey, I know how to meet them exactly where they are.

30–45 Minute Sessions
Every session is focused and purposeful. Length is matched to the swimmer. A young child gets a shorter, age-appropriate session built around how they actually learn.
Quick Pre-Session Form
Before we start, parents fill out a 60-second questionnaire so I understand your swimmer before we ever hit the water.
Parent Debrief
After every session I sit down with the parent. You'll always know exactly what we worked on and why.
What to Bring
A swimsuit and their favorite goggles. That's it. I handle the rest.
Lesson Options
For the best results, I recommend 2 to 3 sessions per week. Consistency is what builds real progress in the water.

For Athletes
Who Want More

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Coaching and Performance Science with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. I have a framework of education that most coaches don't have. I work with competitive athletes and teams on the factors that actually separate good from great. The mental, relational, and structural side of performance.

I'm not here to replace a coach or administrator. I'm here to give you the tools they may not have had time to teach.

What We Work On
  • Video Stroke Analysis: Film your swims. I break down mechanics frame by frame and deliver a written report with priorities.
  • Dryland Programming: Strength, mobility, and power training built specifically for your events.
  • Race Strategy: Splits, pacing plans, dive execution, turn efficiency, and taper structure.
  • Mental Performance: Pre-race routines, pressure management, and competition mindset.
  • Recruiting Guidance: For high school athletes, how to position yourself, communicate with college coaches, and make the most of your final seasons.
